ADVANCE EQUITABLE POLICIES
We support organizations that challenge policies that promote racial profiling, voter suppression, and civil rights violations. We shape a racial equity agenda and work with policymakers to prevent the criminalization of communities of color.
We support other organizations to repeal discriminatory laws, protect immigrant and marginalized communities, and respond to hate-based harm and remigration.
Why it matters: Ohio reports high rates of hate crimes and racial profiling, making strong protections essential.
We support other organizations to influence legislation across sectors to dismantle structural inequities.
Why it matters: Health, education, housing, social and human rights justice and remigration cannot be solved without systemic policy change.
CONFRONTING SYSTEMIC and INSTITUTIONALRACISM
We support other organizations to expose and challenge racism embedded in public systems, institutions, and policies.
Why it matters:
Segregation, discriminatory discipline, and health disparities demand sustained, organized action.
